Town of Leland to host Spring Fling at Founders Park

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Leland will host the Spring Fling, formerly Eggspedition at the end of March.

The event will take place at the newly renovated Founders Park on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This free, family-friendly event will continue the tradition of classic egg hunts and add face paintings, games, community organization activities, and food trucks.

Egg hunts will begin at 10 a.m. and occur every 45 minutes until 12:15 p.m. Age groups include 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-13. There will be an egg hunt held for ages 14-18 at 12:30 p.m.

Participants are asked to participate in only one egg hunt.

Other activities will include touch-a-truck, the Brunswick County Library Bookmobile, rock painting, and yard games.
