Traffic stop leads to slew of drug charges

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — A Shallotte man faces a slew of drug charges after police pulled him over.

DEA agents arrested Clayton John Allen Holmes, 30, during a traffic stop on HWY 17 Thursday night. Some of his charges include selling cocaine, and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and heroin. He also faces two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Holmes was also served with multiple charges stemming from previous incidents including two counts of selling heroin, two counts of PWIMSD heroin, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear on a criminal summons or citation, probation violation and indictments for previous drug charges.
