Trio accused of breaking into Caswell Beach rental home

CASWELL BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Investigators said three people were caught breaking into a rental home by an off duty police officer.

Caswell Beach Police said Lamont Lee Proctor II, Ginny Ann Kelly and Matthew Dillon Vaczy are facing burglary charges. Police say a vacationing Charlotte police officer saw some suspicious activity and called 911. The officer responded and saw two people taking a TV from the home, according to police. The third person was in a car parked near by.

Caswell Beach officers were assisted by Oak Island Police.

They were booked under a $25,000 bond each.
