Troopers investigate accident involving car and pedestrian

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Emergency crews were on the scene of an accident on North College Road in New Hanover County Wednesday night. Dispatchers said a car hit a pedestrian near the Gordon Road exit.

One lane was open northbound and any traffic going onto 40 from College had to cross Gordon road and take the on ramp.

Calls to the responding trooper have not been returned.
