Two arrested for theft of meth chemical

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Sheriffs detectives have arrested two men for stealing a chemical used to make methamphetamine.

41-year-old Eugene West and 46-year-old Jimmy Delton are facing methamphetamine and other drug charges after allegedly stealing ammonia to make the drug. They were both taken to the Brunswick County jail under a 500-thousand dollar bond. The arrest occurred after a three month investigation into several thefts of anhydrous ammonia.
