Two arrested in September 2014 murder

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two men have been arrested and charged with the murder of Martineze Vaughn, 26, last fall in Wilmington.

Police say Anthony Sneed, 30, and Antonio Spencer, 26, are charged with second-degree murder. Sneed is also charged with aggressive driving, resisting arrest and speeding to elude arrest. Spencer had a prior warrant for failure to appear in court.

Back in September officers responded to a shooting at an apartment building at 122 S. 9th St. around 4 p.m. They found the body of Vaughn with multiple gunshot wounds in the backseat of a car.

There is no bond set for the murder charges.
