Two Diamond Hawks picked in MLB Draft

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A couple of UNCW baseball players will get a chance to make it in professional baseball.

Outfielder Andrew Cain and pitcher Tyler DeLoach were selected in the third and final day of the Major League Baseball Draft.

The San Francisco Giants picked Cain in the 24th round. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim made DeLoach their 26th-round pick.
