WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two Downtown Wilmington nightlife spots to close August 31st amid property renovations

The Downtown Wilmington bar KGB and its neighboring nightclub Pravda will close for good on August 31st after their lease is up. The owners took over Caprice Bistro earlier this year, preparing for the closing of the bar and nightclub.  

It’s partially due to renovations done in the neighboring Bourbon Street restaurant on the corner of front and princess streets which also closed last year.  

The owner of that property has improvements planned for all three buildings on that corner because — he says — they haven’t been updated in decades.
