Two men arrested after drug bust near Market North

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two Pender County men were arrested Tuesday during a multi-jurisdictional narcotics investigation near Market North in Wilmington.

New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit, FBI Coastal Carolina Criminal Enterprise Task Force and members from the Pender County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit conducted this joint operation.

27-year-old Christoper Scott Parker, of Burgaw, was charged with felony possession of heroin, and felony maintaining a vehicle for purposes of controlled substances.

29-year-old Arik Tyler Jones, of Burgaw, was charged with felony possession of heroin.

Both Parker and Jones were given $10,000 secured bonds and are currently in the New Hanover County Jail.
