Two men arrested for convenience store armed robbery

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two Bladen County men face charges for an armed robbery at the Butters Quick Shop in the Butters community southwest of Bladenboro on Saturday evening.

According to a news release from the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Robert Anthony Davis and Gerrod Basil Ellison. They are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and are in the Bladen County jail under $100,000 secured bonds.

Ellison is also charged with possession of a stolen firearm.
