Two men wanted in Wilmington knife attack
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating after a man says he was approached and attacked by two men.
The incident was reported in the area of 6th and Queen streets just before 4 a.m. A man told police two men approached him asking for directions. During that time, the victim told police one of the suspects approached him for behind and cut him in the chin with a knife. The suspects then ran off, police said.
The victim was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center but should be OK. There was no description given for the suspects. Police do not believe anything was taken during the assault.
