Two sentenced after death of a baby in Brunswick County
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two people pled guilty in the death of a baby in Brunswick County that happened back in January.
Mollie Fischer and Curtis Williams pled guilty as charged to felony negligent child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury and involuntary manslaughter in the death of their 8-month-old child.
Fischer was sentenced to 1.6 to 3 years, and Williams was sentenced to 2.5 to 4 years in the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction.
