Two sisters arrested on drug charges in Columbus County

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two sisters on drug charges.
On April 16th, the sheriff’s office searched a home on Page’s Mill Road in Cerro Gordo after getting complaints from community members about the suspected distribution of illegal drugs from the home.
Investigators seized multiple types of controlled substances, along with digital scales and packaging materials.
Miranda Lynn Godwin, 37 has been charged with:
- Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance (Felony)
- Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance (Felony)
- Felony Possession of Cocaine
- Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for Controlled Substances (Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)
She has a bond set at $10,500.
Crystal Leanne Godwin, 39, has been charged with:
- Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance (Felony)
- Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Schedule III Controlled Substance (Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)
She has a bond set at $10,000.
