UNCW Athletics release protocol for potential NIT Home Game

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — The UNCW Athletic Department has released their protocol for tickets ahead of a potential home game within the NIT.

The NIT will announce its field of 32 teams through social media at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 15, 2026.

If UNCW is selected to host a first-round game, season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to claim seats. They will have until 5 p.m. on Monday, Mar. 16, 2026 to claim their tickets.

The seats not claimed by season ticket holders will be available for the public to purchase.

After 5 p.m. on Monday the 16th, any seats not claimed by season ticket holders will be released for public sale.
