UNCW College Republicans react to Charlie Kirk’s death
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Charlie Kirk was a right-winged political activist, author, and media personality.
Kirk played a prominent role in right-wing media, sharing his beliefs, values, and viewpoints largely through social media.
In 2012, he co-founded the conservative organization ‘Turning Point USA’ and was its executive director.
With being such a prominent right-winged activist through the media, his death leaves some people wondering what is to come of conservative media.
Reagan Faulkner, Chair of UNCW’s College Republicans, says she is worried about the future of right-wing media now without Kirk.
“I’m also secretary of Turning Point so that had a huge impact too, like what’s going to happen to that organization, what will our campus presence look like from now on, and what does right-wing media look like without Charlie Kirk, cause he was one of the most prominent leaders of right-wing media,” said Faulkner.
The loss of Kirk has impacted many people across the United States.
