UNCW dominates Charleston Southern 18-2 in seven innings
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — The last time they faced, they needed two innings past regulation to decide a winner, but it was quite the opposite on Tuesday as UNCW swept the season series over Charleston Southern with an 18-2 win.
The Seahawks got on the board early and often, starting with an RBI single from Kevin Jones that brought J.P. Pannella home before the first out.
That was followed by an explosion of offense, including nine UNCW runs in the 5th inning alone.
