UNCW financial aid director resigns

WILMINGTON, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) — The financial aid director at the University of North Carolina Wilmington resigned Wednesday for “personal reasons,” according to a school spokeswoman.

Ixchel Baker-Tate’s picture and contact information were still on the financial aid office’s website for most of Wednesday, but were removed late in the afternoon. The director’s position is now listed as “vacant.”

School spokeswoman Janine Iamunno’s said Baker-Tate’s resignation would take effect 60 days from Wednesday.

Baker-Tate couldn’t be reached Wednesday.
