UNCW holding GameCon 2025 Sunday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — UNCW Esports is holding GameCon 2025 this weekend.

The event will be held on Sunday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Education Building. The convention is free to enter and will include tournaments, vendors, free-to play tabletop + video games, raffles, and more.

Here is the full schedule:

• 10:00 AM – Doors Open
• 11:00 AM – Dungeons & Dragons Rumble
• 12:00 PM – Super Smash Bros Singles Tournament
• 1:00 PM – Magic The Gathering Draft
• 2:00 PM – Mini RPG One-Shot
• 3:00 PM – Cosplay Competition
• 3:00 PM – Beat Saber 2v2 Amateur Tournament
• 4:00 PM – Beat Saber 2v2 Pro Tournament
