UNCW picks up 9-1 home win over William & Mary

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – UNCW baseball began their home weekend series on the right foot with a 9-1 home win over William & Mary on Friday.

The Seahawks wasted no time by putting up five runs in the 1st inning. Those included RBI hits from Tanner Thach, Trevor Lucas and Bryan Arendt. Wilmington also plated two more via wild pitch before they had two outs.

UNCW improves to .500 overall (17-17) and in CAA play (5-5).
