UNCW-Puerto Rico soccer friendly moved to tonight

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The UNCW women’s soccer teams match against the Puerto Rico National Team will happen one night earlier than planned.

UNCW announced this morning that the friendly will kick off at 7 p.m. tonight at UNCW Soccer Stadium. The match was scheduled to take place Wednesday night.

Admission is free.

The Seahawks are coming off a school-record 15-win campaign and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament after earning a 2-0 victory at South Carolina. Puerto Rico is preparing for the 2016 CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship scheduled for Feb. 10-21 in Houston.
