UNCW recognized by college guides

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — UNCW has been recognized by three organizations for its value, quality and beauty.

Consumers Digest named UNCW 10th in the country in their Top 50 Values for Public Colleges and Universities. UNCW placed highest in the UNC system with North Carolina State University and Appalachian State University following closely at #11 and #12.

UNCW also landed on the 2015-2016 Colleges of Distinction list.  The Colleges of Distinction’s methodology includes qualitative and quantitative data such as graduation rates, class size, experiential learning opportunities and core competency measures.

Best Value Schools also included UNCW on its 30 Most Beautiful Coastal College Campuses list, at 15th overall.  The website cited the beautiful campus, and for its role as a “well-known, and well-respected, coastal university.”
