UNCW’s Talley suspended from basketball team


WILMINGTON, NC (UNCWSPORTS.COM) – Junior guard Jordon Talley has been suspended indefinitely from the UNCW men’s basketball program for conduct detrimental to the team, third-year Head Coach Kevin Keatts announced Thursday.

Talley, a 6-0, 185-pound point guard from Richmond, Va., has played in 63 games with 37 starts over the last two seasons. He started 16-of-31 games in 2015-16 when the Seahawks captured their first Colonial Athletic Association championship since 2007.

Talley owns career averages of 8.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists and made the CAA’s All-Rookie Team in 2014-15.
