Unveiling ceremony to be held for Mural on Saturday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — What was once a dreary gray wall, will officially be a Wilmington neighborhood’s “Forest of Dreams” come Saturday.

The mural includes creatures and plants commissioned by local organizations in coordination with UNCW.  More than 500 volunteers along with local artists have worked on the 240 foot wall since March.  Saturday’s unveiling ceremony begins at 2 p.m and is followed by a free concert and pizza party at 3 p.m.
