Plane crashes near int’l airport in South Sudan, killing dozens
JUBA, South Sudan (AP) — Russia TV is reporting that a Soviet-era plane that just crashed in South Sudan appears to have been overloaded.
An unnamed source at the Russian aviation agency tells Russia TV channel LifeNews that the plane was made in 1971.
The plane took off today from the South Sudanese capital of Juba, crashing along the banks of the Nile River and killing at least 25 people.
