US Army Corps of Engineers holding meeting on deepening Wilmington harbor

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a public meeting to discuss the Wilmington Harbor 403.
The meeting offers an opportunity for the public to learn about the project to deepen the harbor to a depth of 47’.
The Corps is partnering with the North Carolina State Ports Authority for the Wilmington Harbor 403 Letter Report and Environmental Impact Statement.
The public meeting will be on February 13 at the Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern North Carolina, which is located at 2759 Vance Street in Wilmington. The meeting will run from 7 to 8pm.
