US Marshals find Hampstead man accused of child sex crimes


PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the Pender County Sheriff’s Office said a wanted Hampstead man was found in Arkansas.

Deputies said Brandon Stewart Hall was wanted by authorities on several child sex abuse charges. They said he was picked up by US Marshals in Blytheville, Arkansas last week. Hall is now in the Mississippi County Jail in Luxor, Arkansas awaiting extradition.

Deputies said the investigation started in April and they obtained warrants at the end of June. Charges include first degree sex offense with a child, second degree sex offense and sexual battery.
