They also remind us that as they get more mail this time of the year know that carriers may be out earlier in the day and later in the evening

A communication specialist with USPS, Philip Bogenberger says this is their busiest season, but they’re prepared for it.

“We’ve already seen an up-tick in volume, but this is something we prepare for year-round it is kind of like we say our Superbowl for 2 months every day in a row. It is something that we love. It is the busiest time of year but it’s the most exciting time of year. We are prepared for this more than ever,” Bogenberger said.

Bogenberger adds as the sun sets earlier to leave a porch light on for the carrier if you are expecting mail.
