USS North Carolina submarine crew coming to Wilmington this week

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — USS North Carolina submarine crew will be stopping by Wilmington on Friday.

According to a press release, the NC Submarine crew visit to our state continues to bring awareness of the state’s namesake, active duty Navy submarine.

They will start at a breakfast reception aboard BB-55 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Then at 1:00 p.m. the crew will be at Kids Making It at 617 Castle Street. The crew will stop by Cape Fear Community College/ STEM Ed Roundtable w/ faculty & students at 2:00 p.m. Finally the crew will stop by at  the Eagles Dare Restaurant at 420 N 3rd Street at 5:00 p.m.
