Vehicle fire closes US-17 east near Cape Fear Memorial Bridge
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A vehicle fire temporarily closed lanes leading up to the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge.
The NCDOT says the road was closed after US 74.

The fire started around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon causing major traffic delays.
The NCDOT says the lanes have reopened.
