Armed man shot dead in Paris on Charlie Hebdo anniversary
PARIS (AP) — Officials in Paris say a man armed with a knife was shot to death by officers at a police station in the northern part of the city.
Officials say the man had wires extending from his clothing, and an explosives squad is on site.
A year ago today, 11 people were killed inside the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine and a police officer was killed outside.
Over the next two days an accomplice shot a policewoman to death and then stormed a kosher supermarket, killing four hostages.
