Wallace man fights off home invasion with machete; suspects arrested months later

WALLACE, NC (WWAY) — Several people were recently arrested in connection to a home invasion in July.
Wallace Police Department officers responded to the 100 block of E. Carol C MHP Lane July 29th in reference to a home invasion and attempted robbery which they say took place around 3:46 a.m.
Officers say multiple suspects forcefully broke into and entered the home. One of the residents encountered the suspects as they were entering the front door and attempted to get them out of his home. The resident had armed himself with a machete and struck one of the suspects who was holding a gun. The suspect with the firearm was struck on the hand and all suspects ran away from the home.
After a thorough investigation, Wallace Police say it was determined the suspects responsible for the crime were Roddarious Plummer, Alejandro Silva, Jermaine Faulk, Samantha Courtright, and Raimon Parker.
Four of the five suspects have been charged and arrested for the following offenses:
Roddarious Plummer – First Degree Burglary, Attempted Armed Robbery, and two counts of Felony Conspiracy.
Alejandro Silva – First Degree Burglary, Attempted Armed Robbery, and two counts of Felony Conspiracy.
Jermaine Faulk – First Degree Burglary, Aid and Abet Armed Robbery, Accessory after the Fact, and two counts of Felony Conspiracy.
Samantha Courtright – Aid and Abet Armed Robbery and two counts of Felony Conspiracy.
Raimon Parker has been charged with First Degree Burglary, Attempted Armed Robbery, and two counts of Felony Conspiracy. At this time, Raimon has not been arrested but does have active warrants for his arrest.
