Walmart deploys mobile pharmacy to Burgaw

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — In partnership with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and the Secretary of Health, Walmart has deployed its mobile pharmacy to Burgaw.

This will assist a mobile hospital set up in Burgaw that is seeing patients who are in need of pharmacy services.

The mobile pharmacy trailer can fill up to 3,000 prescriptions per week.

The trailer has a waiting area and a health services room for immunizations and consultations.

The mobile pharmacy is setup in the Family Dollar parking lot at 220 W Wilmington Street in Burgaw (across from the Piggly Wiggly).

Hours starting Thursday are 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.
