Warming Shelter ILM looking for kids cold-weather clothing

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — In a social media post, the Warming Shelter ILM is working to help local elementary schools collect kids clothing.

Two elementary schools are in need of kid’s coast and cold-weather gear in kid’s sizes 5-18.

If you are looking to donate hats, gloves, scarfs, coats, and other cold weather gear you can drop off donations to the following locations:

  • Snipes Academy: 2150 Chestnut Street
  • Freeman Elementary: 2601 Princess Pl Dr.

You can drop off kid clothing to either location’s main office between 7:15 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The Warming Shelter ILM is asking people to no overwhelm the schools with unrequested items.
