Water outage affecting parts of Whiteville

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — The City of Whiteville is currently experiencing a water outage on High Street.

Several blocks around James Street are impacted.

If you live in the immediate area, you may experience a water outage.

Crews are on scene and working to restore service.

Emergency Services Director Hal Lowder says he believes the service be restored sometime after midnight.
