WCA captures NCCSA state championship in golf


CLAYTON, NC (WCA RELEASE) — Wilmington Christian Academy won the NCCSA state golf championship on Tuesday, played at The Neuse Golf Club in Clayton with a team score of 293.

BlakeTaylor (WCA) medaled with a score of 71. Jake Booth and Joey Funderburg tied with 73; Sarah Funderburg, 76; Grant Brongo, 78; Sam Stamey, 90.

WCA has won the state championship 3 years in a row.

Jake Flaming is the WCA golf coach.
