WCA volleyball team knocks off Hoggard

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Christian Academy defeated the Hoggard Vikings on Monday 3-0 in  a matchup of two of the top teams in Wilmington, if not the top two. It was a 25-20, 25-16, 25-19 victory for Wilmington Christian.

WCA volleyball coach Tonya Upto now has 535 career wins. Coincidentally she picked up her 500th career win last year against Hoggard.

WCA will face Raleigh Christian in Raleigh on Tuesday. WCA is now 16-4 on the season. Hoggard will host Laney on Tuesday.
