Wednesday’s state playoff roundup

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Topsail softball team got a step closer to earning a spot in the state finals on Wednesday, but the Topsail baseball team is out. We were there to check it out. This means there won’t be a repeat champion this year for 3-A baseball. Whiteville softball is in the hunt for a state title too, along with the girls soccer team at Hoggard.
