Western NC couple getting married live on GMA after whirlwind romance

ASHEVILLE, NC (WLOS) — A North Carolina couple is in the Big Apple to get married live on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Shawn Fitchett and Crystal Penix entered a contest for a dream wedding and they’re one of ten chosen to get hitched.

“The cute couple, the sweet couple, and the old fashioned kind of love couple,” Shawn describes his bond with Crystal.
