Whats happening across the Cape Fear this weekend

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — Easter is just three days away and there’s plenty of activities to do across the cape fear region this weekend including appearances with the Easter Bunny, family fun runs, and sunrise services at the beach.

On Saturday Leland Brewing Company and Lazy Day Farm will host an Easter egg hunt for the little ones at 1 P.M. Participants can also enjoy food trucks, vendors, a petting zoo, and you can even meet the Easter Bunny! The event ends at 6 P.M.

Also happening Saturday…Access of Wilmington will host their 13th annual Miracles In Motion 5k and 1 mile family fun run at Long Leaf Park to celebrate athletes of all abilities. In addition to the race attendees can also enjoy food trucks, local vendors, and even an all accessible Easter egg hunt! Registration must be done in advance here.

And finally, on Sunday morning First Presbyterian Church in Wilmington will host

their Easter sunrise service at 6:30 at Wrightsville Beach public access 34, in Kure Beach there will be a shared service between Kure Memorial Lutheran Church and Kure Beach First Baptist Church at 6:40 at Ocean Front Park, and in Carolina Beach Saint Paul’s UMC will host a sunrise service at 7:00 at the Carolina Beach boardwalk.
