Whiteville Police Department investigating fatal two-vehicle car crash
WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — The Whiteville Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one person on Saturday evening.
Just after 6 pm, police responded to the intersection of JK Powell Blvd and W Burkhead St for a two-vehicle crash.
3 people were inside the cars, with one pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Columbus Regional Hospital, while another was taken to the same hospital to be treated.
The third person was airlifted to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Their identities have not been released at this time.
