Whiteville Police Department makes another arrest in Fun-ctionz shooting investigation

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — The Whiteville Police Department has made another arrest in a shooting investigation at a business.

The shooting happened on April 13th at Fun-ctionz which is located at 910 South Madison Street.

Late Friday night, police chased after Malik Wilder, 29, who was speeding through the town with Ireyhanna Sinkler, 23, in his vehicle.

Both suspects were caught and two juveniles inside the vehicle were returned to their guardians.

Sinkler is charged with several motor vehicle violations, as well as second degree kidnapping.

Wilder is charged with discharging a weapon at a moving vehicle.

They’re both being held without bond.

The previous week, police charged Samantha Crawford, 34, Kapri Ccmillian, 32, with discharging a weapon at a moving vehicle.

McMillan is also charged with the murder of Jaquise Cribbs, which allegedly happened about seven hours after this shooting.
