Whiteville Police increasing traffic enforcement through end of month

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — The Whiteville Police Department is increasing traffic enforcement through the end of the month.

The campaign begins Wednesday and will last through February 28th.

Officers plan to address speeding, unsafe movement, seatbelt compliance and vehicle modifications.

There will also be a visible increase in law enforcement presence during the campaign.

Citizens are encouraged to become a ‘partner in policing’ by reporting unsafe driving behaviors to 911.
