Whiteville’s Shaun Kirk scores 23 at East-West All-Star game in Greensboro
GREENSBORO, NC (WWAY) — We expected Whiteville’s Shaun Kirk to throw down a few slams at the East-West All-Star game in Greensboro Monday night. The NC State signee did not disappoint. In fact his slams nearly stole the show at the high school basketball showcase.
The NC State recruit scored 23 points for the East in the 122-115 win over the West. Hoggard graduate Trae Bryant added 10 points for the East. Jacque Brown, a recent East Carteret graduate, was named the MVP of the event. Brown netted 25 points at the Greensboro Coliseum.
The final of 122-115 turned out to be the highest combined point total in the history of the event.
