Wilmington business provides free designs to local companies
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington company celebrating its one-year anniversary used the occasion to give back to the community Friday afternoon.
Ebbing Branding + Design held a pro bono Design-A-Thon in Wilmington’s cargo district.
They provided free design work and consultation to three clients: Team Help Opioid Reduction, Surfrider Foundation, and TRU Colors Brewing Company.
Founder Matt Ebbing says instead of focusing on the company’s success over the last year, they wanted to use the anniversary to focus on the community.
“We believe that our community being here in Wilmington and all the support we have has been instrumental to us being successful as a business. So whether its surrounding ourselves with other creative and smart thinkers, being around innovation, just having simple friends and colleagues that are able to bring something to the table. We’d rather give back to the community than just go out for a beer,” said Ebbing.
Jimmy Capps, founder of Team Work, says he is extremely happy with the logo Ebbing designed for him.
