Wilmington City Council waits to condemn homes

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington City Council is giving some Wilmington homeowners more time before demolishing their homes. 

Three homes were on the agenda Tuesday tonight to be approved for demolition because of the state of disrepair the homes are in.

The Council said they would give the homeowners of two homes more time to complete repairs or sell the home to someone that could do the repairs.
