Wilmington featured in latest ‘Saturday Night Live’ skit
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington got a big shoutout this weekend during TV show “Saturday Night Live.”
The sketch titled “Karaoke Recap” was a fake cable access show set in the Cape Fear, featuring very poor singers.

The City of Wilmington tweeted at the show, saying “we’re thinking Karaoke Recap would be a nice segment between our City Council replay and holiday safety PSA. BRB, off to see if we can make this happen.”
