Wilmington Fire Department extinguishes weekend structure fire

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Fire crews responded to a structure fire over the weekend.

Wilmington Firefighters were called to Inland Greens for a residential blaze on Saturday.

Crews jumped into action to quickly extinguish the fire.

Unfortunately, three units were damaged, and those residents were displaced and assisted by the Red Cross.

An investigation by our Fire Marshals ruled the fire accidental.
