Wilmington Fire Department welcomes trick-or-treaters on Halloween

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Fire Department is expecting trick or treaters from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday.

Firefighters say they’ll have plenty of candy for the kids.

They ask attendees not to park in front of the bay doors in case they need to respond to any calls.

The fire department also reminds visitors they may be on a call when you stop by the station so you’re welcome to wait or to stop by later.
