Wilmington first responders surprise fire victims with Thanksgiving meal

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington fire responders surprised a couple on Tuesday morning with a special meal.

Wilmington fire and police crews surprised a couple who lost their home in a fire on 10 Street earlier this month with a Thanksgiving meal.

“We know it cannot replace their house, but we hope it can be a small blessing in the midst of this hard time,” WFD wrote online.
