UPDATE: Two men accused of shooting at vehicles, and a Waffle House

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two men face multiple charges after allegedly firing at occupied vehicles and property on Carolina Beach Road on New Year’s Day.

Jacquae Taijhon Kanye Roland, 18, and Jaquan Antonio Miller, 19, were arrested Thursday, January 1.

According to court documents, Roland and Miller are each charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury, felony discharging a weapon into occupied property, felony discharging a firearm within and enclosure to incite fear, three felony counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling or moving vehicle, and misdemeanor discharging a firearm within city limits.

Court documents allege Roland and Miller shot from inside a black Honda sedan, hitting 2448 Carolina Beach Road, which is the address for the Waffle House.

The two also allegedly shot into a Hyundai sedan and an Infiniti sedan while the vehicles were occupied.

Police said a 17-year-old showed up to the emergency room with a gunshot wound.

WPD is investigating if the 17-year-old was injured during this incident.
